How to select right AntiVirus Application

Hi All,

How to make desktop free from Virus attachments? We use pen Drives and Internet downloading application frequently. We can define safe sites for virus free downloading. So many free antivirus software's are not giving good performance. It is compulsory to use License version Anti Virus.

Please suggest good anti virus for Desktop usage.

This site may help you choose which is the best anti-virus software.They check the detection rate, and the proactiveness of the anti-virus software (the ability to detect in advance). This is very important because there are many new viruses and malwares coming up everyday. I can say their test are reliable. Their product of the year for 2010 is F-Secure. G Data, Avast, Symantec are a few to choose from. The anti-virus they choose for testing are already considered as good and high quality products because they have filtered out all.
