HOW TO CREATE A DATABASE USING TEMPLATE

Template consists of all the tables, reports, forms etc. These can be used to create a database.

1) Open a database. Go to the File menu and close the database.

2) Backstage view will appear in another tab.

3) Select the templates according to your convenience.

4) You can change your file name from the File Name box.

5) From the file menu click create.

6) This will start the creation with the template chosen.

7) To write data, click on the first cell and type.

CREATE DATABASE WITHOUT TEMPLATE

You can build your own tables, reports, forms etc.

1) Go to the file menu

2) Select new.

3) Click on Blank Database.

4) Enter a file name in the FileName box.

5) You can change the location of the file by click on Browse for a location to put your database.

6) Click on create.

HOW TO OPEN AN EXISTING DATABASE

1) Go to file menu and select open.

2) Browse the database.

  • Double-click on it to open in default mode as set by the administrative policy.
  • Click on open so that the it can be utilized by multi users.
