How to set-up a dual display PC?

I'm planning to add another monitor in my workspace and I got no idea what to do. Most of the monitors now come with HDMI, how is it compared to VGA? I'm using the VGA with my monitor right now, is it okay to use both HDMI and VGA? What are your recommendations?

Dear,

VGA (Video Graphics Adapter) and HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) this are 2 standards that are being used today. The difference between these two is in the format of the information that it conveys. VGA is an analog standard while HDMI is a digital standard. They also come with the advantages and disadvantages of each standard. VGA is very old and was created by IBM in their computers.

Many of the PC manufacturers conformed to VGA and pretty soon, it became the standard for all personal computers. However sir you can still use two monitors in your existing VGA plug by using hdmi to VGA converter It is looking like this image shown below.
