I want somebody to give me a step by step procedure on how to make a Squid-Proxy Server on Ubuntu and monitor all the internet traffic or usage on the server. Basically tell me how to set up Ubuntu top Squid monitor on my device ?

How to set up ubuntu top squid monitor ?

 

Setting up Ubuntu is very simple.

You can try the steps below for setting :

Ø Install squid (sudo apt – get install squid)

Ø Go to the configuration directory and make a copy of it for later use

Ø Start the squid (sudo service squid start)

Ø Now configure squid’s option as your requirement

Ø Stop the squid (sudo service squid start)
