How to setup a network printer in my iMac?
Hi Mostakim,
As you are a new Apple user I want to welcome you  to the  Apple Mac world.  Mac is a different platform. The applications are different and the process are also different, but not that much difficult. To setup a network printer is easy.
Follow me:
First you have to click on System preferences from the dock where the software icons are displayed; then select printer & Fax; selecting printer & Fax, you can see on the left side of the dialog box + – Sign; click on + sign; on clicking + sign you'll see a dialog box including, Default Fax IP windows Bluetooth Apple Talk More Printers.
Select the IP, selecting IP you will see Protocol, Address, Queue, Name, Location, Print Using.  In protocol option select Line Printer Daemon-LPD.  Now enter you IP Address in address bar. You have to know your IP address so click Add; other required fields will fill up automatically and you are ready to print. Now open a document which you want to print. Go to file and select your printer name; just give the print command. I think this will help you. Let me know how it works.
Cheers,
Bappy

How to setup a network printer in my iMac?
Yeah, you are right. It's easy and the instruction was clear to me. Now I am able to print any documents from my iMac. The instruction really helps me to setup quickly. I have another question, do all the printers support Mac OS. I'm budgeting to purchase a few more printers for my office. If I hear from you. it would be helpful. Thanks.

How to setup a network printer in my iMac?
Dear Mostakim,
Glad to know that you have successfully setup your printer. You asked to know whether all kinds of printer can support  Mac. For your information,  not all but now a days almost all the HP printers support Mac OS. It's really  a good question. Whenever you purchase a printer, if you are a Mac user,  you have to know first about the printer whether the printer is Mac supported or not. If it supports mac then, which OS version does it support.
Cheers,

How to setup a network printer in my iMac?
Thanks, one more thing. Do check your network connection everyday, for using your printer with your MAC OS and also for your information, if you are using WIFI at your office. iMac has a built in Wireless card which has an airport card.
For using WIFI from your iMac, turn your Airport on. Â At the top of your iMac screen to the right, there is a Wireless icon, just click on it and turn it on, you will connected with WIFI network. If your Airport is not turned on then you won't be able to print from your iMac. You need Airport to be turned on, to access from your iMac. Thanks and take care.

How to setup a network printer in my iMac?
Hi,
Could you please try this. Open a document which you want to print and then go to file. You can see a printer name. If you are connected with the network, your printer will be added to your iMac automatically. Thanks.
