How To Solve “IGFXEXT Module Has Stopped Working” Error?

Whenever I start my PC get the error igfxext module has stopped working. Is there any way by which I can stop that popup window? I am not using any software named “igfxext”.

How To Solve “IGFXEXT Module Has Stopped Working” Error?

Igtxext is an intel module which is installed for DisplayLink. It is used to enhance your display and manages the optimizations. It is not an important module and hence it can be removed or prevented from running.

Open startup app list by using msconfig. Locate igtxext and disable it from starting with Windows boot.

After this you wont be getting the popup error message. But also you can uninstall that app as you may not be using it.
