I have absolutely no clue what’s wrong with my pc.
My operating system is Windows XP. Every time I see an Isass.exe error message on my pc after starting the pc.
Isass. exe – Operation Failed
The requested operation was unsuccessful.
After pressing the ok button on the message window pc gets shut down immediately and it continues. Everything was okay until yesterday.
I thought it could work in safe mode and tried to run it in safe mode but can’t avoid the message. What should I do?
Should I reinstall the fresh version of OS again or is there any process available to repair it?
Somebody please help me.
How to Solve lsass.exe System Error
Hi
Lsass.exe error is commonly attributed to the virus Sasser and there is a possibility that your system has been infected by it. Considering your situation now, you can't use your system since it's restarting, it is too late now.
What I can suggest to you is try to repair your windows installation using your Windows Installation CD, this error is most likely associated with your windows installation and a repair might fix it, put your CD just boot it in your PC and press R to repair your Windows.
If this doesn't work, there is no choice but to reformat your hard drive and do a fresh install again.

How to Solve lsass.exe System Error
Hi Watson,
-
This error is caused by "WORM_SASSER.A" a Malware worm.
-
It spreads through Port 445 (TCP).
-
So to repair it you first have to disconnect all your network connection.
-
Then turn your firewall on and run a virus scan.
-
There are some virus scanner such as Avira, Microsoft Security Essentials, etc.
-
Then run a registry repair like this
-
This should stop the problem.
But it is better if you Install a fresh copy of an operating system after this.
Best Regards
