My PC Sometimes Shows the error NTLDR Missing, Then I call Technician and he repairs my windows. But I am facing this NTLDR error two or three times in every month. This error is occurred when NTLDR file which is needed to start Windows XP and located in root directory, got missed. Why this file missed time to time. What is exact reason of Missing NTLDR.
How to solve NTLDR Missing Error.
The NTLDR only error occurs when some files on your computer are corrupted. Specifically boot.ini files. These files are being corrupted due to some known reason such as electricity fluctuation, improper shutdown of the PC. When NTLDR attacked the best solution to correct it is to repair it using your Windows Operating System installer.
Here’s how : First, Insert the Windows Operating System installer into the CD drive. Second, press any key to boot from the CD. Now, press R in the Windows setup menu to repair windows. Next you need to press 1 (one) to login to your Windows installation and press Enter. After that, you will then be prompted for your administrator password, enter that password(Usually it is password, default). You may now copy the two files labeled as \\i386ntdlr and \\i386ntdetect.com to the root directory of your hard drive. Lastly, remove the CD installer and reboot once the files are successfully copied.
How to solve NTLDR Missing Error.
Hi dear,
It is very easy to remove the "NTLDR is missing" error on windows XP. You cannot fix it manually. You have to use a third party software. I will tell you about a Boot CD which will help you do this. You should use Hirens Boot CD. You can download it from this link below.

Just boot your computer with this CD, and click on “Fix NTLDR is Missing”, and it will fix it in one second.
Thanks.
