I am using Windows Vista.

When i want to run a program, you receive the following warning message:

The publisher could not be verified. Are you sure you want to run this software?

What is the problem? I need a solution. Please help. Thanks.

It seems that your windows vista not configure properly. The version of the software you trying to run is not licensed. Installing that software may lead you to data lose and virus infect. Try to install software those are reliable. Some software may not certified by the windows. On that case you need to understand that is it better and reliable.

Its happen for missing or damaged file of a computer. The missing file prevent windows from starting or installing something correctly. Virus infected software also prevent to install anything and the version of the software you trying to run is not licensed. So you have to understand that is better and reliable.

How To solve Vista Error

This message box appears when our system tries to protect us from some dangerous/ malicious programs. This occurs mostly when we tries to run an .exe. file. This can be removed in two ways.

a. Run gpedit.msc.

b. Select user configuration –> Administrative templates –> Windows Components –> Attachment Manager –> Inclusion list

c. Add .exe to inclusion list.

Another way to remove this error is to remove it using the setting of IE

a. Run internet explorer

b. Select tools –> internet option –> security tab

c.  In security tab select "local intranet"

d. Click on "sites"

e. Click on "advanced"

f. Type file://server and click Add

g. Click Ok.
