I have a PC with the following specs:

CPU-Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz

GPU-Geforce 210 1GB

RAM-2GB DDR3

My PC is running slow from a few weeks though I haven't let any malware to attack my PC. I have not connected any external storage to my PC. 

What should I do in order to speed up my PC overally? I have Windows 7 if that helps.
