How to stop autocad from accessing internet
If you want to block your AutoCAD application from connecting to the internet, one simple way to do it is from your Windows Firewall. When you block it from your firewall, it will be blocked from connecting to the internet. To block it from the firewall, click “Start,” “Control Panel,” “Security Center,” and then “Windows Firewall.” In “General” tab, make sure “On” is selected.
Go to “Exceptions” tab and click “Add Program.” Select your “AutoCAD” program on the next screen and click “OK” to add it to the exceptions list of the firewall. If the program is not listed, click “Browse” then navigate to the AutoCAD installation folder and select the main EXE file. In the Exceptions tab, you will see AutoCAD is checked automatically after adding it.
Now, uncheck AutoCAD then click “OK.” This will now block AutoCAD from connecting to the internet.
