How to Synchronize Outlook with MySQL?

Good Day Guys!

Do you think it is possible to synchronize Outlook with MySQL? If so, can anyone please tell me how it is done? Do you know any tutorial on how to synchronize outlook with MySQL? If not, can you suggests any tool or application which can help in the synchronization of outlook contacts in a MySQL database? Have you tried using a third party software? If yes then please share us your experiences, it will be very helpful to us.

How to Synchronize Outlook with MySQL?

Hi Alisa,

Lucky enough there is a software that can be used to sync outlook to any database that supports ODBC and MySQL is one of them.

You can check on GeniusConnect, this supports previous till present version of Microsoft Outlook.

There is MX-SYNC which is used to sync outlook to SQL database it supports simultaneous database update.

Hi Alixa,

One application that can help sync with my MYSQL is  MX-Sync is an Outlook/Exchange Server to Database sync utility designed to sync items bi-directionally between designated personal mailbox folders or Public Folders in Exchange Server and an external database from any off-the-shelf or custom-developed system.

MX-Sync utilizes a SQL Server database as an intermediary database between the external database and Exchange Server. It contains data tables that mirror the Outlook/Exchange folder structure as well as all the configuration tables that identify which folders are to be sync for which users, plus various other logging/sync tables.

You can use MXSync (http://www.exchangewise.com/Products/MXSync/) to sync your outlook express on your SQL, 

Provided below is the logical diagram on how to use MX-Sync Exchange to Data base Synchronization. As the description says, It is an Outlook sync tool which syncs the data in two ways between MS Outlook to Exchange servers to Microsoft Server (or any database application like MySQL).
