How to test your internet downloading and uploading speed?

 

The download speed means the data you get from any server per sec and the uploading speed means the data you give to a server per sec. first you have to know that what it depends on mostly it depends on your service provider up to 65 % sometimes more for example service provider give the speed up to 512 Kbps. Then the second thing is that what the server type if the server is big smart and has a lot of bandwidth it gives you data easily so your speed get higher and higher. Hi

There are many ways that you can test the downloading and uploading speed of your internet connection.

But it can be change according to your operating system.

But there is lot of web sites that you can test the downloading and uploading speed of the connection.

Here is a one link that I usually use to test download and upload speeds of my internet connection.

But when we using the download and upload speed can be different from the application that we use.

How to test your internet downloading and uploading speed?

Hi Haroonraja,

To check the internet downloading and uploading speed, you can use the connection status to check how many number of packets are being sent and how many are being received. If the number is very small then expect  the rate of upload and download to be slow. If the packets being sent and received are many, then it implies your download speed will be fast.

You can also test your upload and download speed using a downloading software. Just download it and install it on your computer, then try downloading with it say a movie or a file from the internet. You will see the download and upload speed indicated.
