How thin Is the iPhone 5 be. Will my current iPhone case be able to cover it still or will I need a new case to go with my new phone.

Hello Yvonne,

According to rumors that have been out recently, the iPhone 5 is expected to have a screen that is slightly bigger, its processor will be improved and better and the cameras will be more advanced.

But according to a blog post on iLounge, the iPhone 5 is expected to have a 4.0 inch display screen. Its body will be made of metal and it will have a dock connector that is slightly smaller.

That leaves us with the suggestion that the casing of the iPhone 4 may not be compatible with that of its predecessor for the size is slightly different. But before it is out we cannot be absolutely sure.

How thin is the Iphone 5 going to be.

Dear User,

According to many sources the 7.6 mm rumor isn’t true. Instead they will have a phone with 58.47 mm wide, 123.83 mm high and 7.6 mm thick with a 4 inch wide screen.

The screen is actually becoming larger since the last iPhones had a 3.5 inch screen.

My answer is you will have to buy a new case to perfectly fit this device.
