What is the procedure for connecting a computer and a fax machine? I have a phone line at my home and it is spare to be used anywhere. I guess we can use it in my case. How to connect a fax machine to a PC?

How To Connect A Fax Machine Using A Phone Line?

The basic tutorial to set up a fax machine at home is as follows:

• Look for the telephone icon on the fax machine and connect that port to the phone line.
• Now, connect the second cable of the fax machine to the computer.
• Turn the power on of the machine and send a fax to test the line connection.
• Lastly, turn on the device and dial up the ISP to check the phone line connection on your system.

Note: Do not forget to load the fax machine with ink/toner and pages.
