I want to create backup domain controller in 2008 server to assist my network admin that I have created on my own. I have a fair enough idea already still need some guidance.

How To Create Backup Domain Controller In 2008 Server In Windows

Once you have entered the server, open your Server Manager console and starting adding roles by clicking on Add roles. Choose Role-based of featured-based installation and go further. Select the Active Directory and accept the default features. When you have completed the Add Roles Wizard, click the link to open the Active Directory Domain Services Installation Wizard. Open Start menu, click Run, command dcpromo.exe and click OK.
