I am trying to upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10 using the media creation tool, but I am encountering a 0x80070020 error. How can I fix this?

To fix the 0x80070020 error, you can try the following.

Method 1

a. If you have any third-party antivirus installed, you need to disable it.
b. Open your antivirus software, and you will find a turnoff/ disable option there.
c. If you are using Windows, you need to turn it off.
d. In the Window’s search box, type Windows Defender Firewall.
e. Open it.

f. Click on Turn Windows Firewall on or off.

g. Turn off the firewall for both the public and private networks.
h. Try to upgrade your Windows now.
