How To Fix 0x80070659 Error In Windows 7 Professional?

You can fix the 0x80070659 error by using an administrator account. If you are already using an administrator account, try the methods given below –

Method 1

1. Right-click on the installer file (.exe).
2. Click on Run as Administrator.
3. Proceed with the installation process.

Method 2

1. Open Control Panel.
2. Open Administrative Tools.
3. Go to Local Security Settings.
4. Click the Software Restrictions policy.
5. If you see that no restrictions are there, right-click on the Software Restriction Policies node. Then, select New Software Restriction Policy.
6. Double-click on the Enforcement.
7. Select the option – All users except local administrators.
8. Click OK.
9. Restart your device.
10. Proceed with the installation.
