I recently installed the Lord Of The Rings video game on my Windows 7 computer. I meet all the system requirements mentioned on the website so the game should work on my computer. However, when I try to run the game it gives me divxdecoder dll download error. How to solve this?
DLL or Dynamic Link Libraries are files that are used by Windows to run certain programs on it. These are shared files and therefore they are not associated with the programs that installed them on your system.
To remove this error, all you need to do is to find this dll file, download it and place it in the appropriate folder. I must strongly advise you to only download files over the internet from websites that you trust to be safe. I’m not sure if you are referring to the right game, “The Lord of the Rings Online,” because that error was triggered by “Wow.exe” which is probably “World of Warcraft.” Anyway, check the system requirements and verify your computer meets those requirements. “The Lord of the Rings Online” supports Windows XP Service Pack 2 and higher.
