I got an error installing windows 7 on my PC, I got a blue screen of death and don’t know what to do now.
Here are following ways you can solve this error
That blue screen error indicates a problem in your volume or the drive where you are installing Windows 7. Since an error has already been triggered, try checking the drive. If your hard disk is divided into several partitions, make sure the partition for the system drive or drive C is created properly and it doesn’t have errors.
The partition doesn’t have to be formatted because Windows setup will do the formatting. Try restarting the Windows setup then on the part where you need to select the partition where to install Windows, delete the partition then create a new one. Once the partition is created, select the full format using NTFS. See if this fixes the problem.
If the problem continues, check the connection of your hard drive inside the CPU. Shut down your computer and open the CPU case. Disconnect and reconnect the ribbon cable and power supply cable from the hard drive.
