I have been using Windows Media Player 12 in my PC for long. The ‘Find Album Info’ function is not working in the application when I click Finish to confirm the right album information a window keeps popping up saying there is a Script Error. Then the only way to get out is by pressing cancel without updating the music files. This problem has started happening. I have tried Restoring my Music Library, but it’s of no use.
How To Fix ‘Find Album Info’ Script Error In Windows Media Player 12
The very first idea that pops up is uninstalling and reinstalling Windows Media Player:
-In the taskbar > click Turn Windows features on or off> in the list of the windows features, clear the checkbox present alongside Windows Media Player> you receive a warning message in a pop-up window. Click Yes to Restart the computer> Once again go to Turn Windows features > in the list, put a checkmark next to Windows Media Player > you will receive a warning message in a pop-up window >Click Yes to restart your computer again.
Another way is by managing add-ons on your IE9, click on currently loaded add-ons and change it to all add-ons and disable the add-on of windows media player application.
