You need to check your settings first. To fix 0x080040154 error, follow these steps-
Check app settings-
a. Open the Mail app.
b. Open your account.
c. Open settings.
d. Click on Accounts.
e. Select your account.
f. Select Change Settings.
g. Open Change mailbox sync settings.
h. Click on the Sync options.
Check your PC date settings-
a. Search for date and time settings in the search box near the start menu.
