0x80070643 Windows update error can occur due to corrupted .NET framework. Methods to fix your issue-

Method 1

a. Go here

b. Download the software.
c. Run the software.
d. Follow the instructions.
e. Now, you will not get the error.

Method 2

a. Open Command Prompt as Admin.

b. Type net stop cryptsvc, and press enter.
c. Type md %systemroot%\system32\catroot2.old, and press enter.
d. Type xcopy %systemroot%\system32\catroot2 %systemroot%\system32\catroot2.old /s, and press enter.
e. Press Windows + R key.
f. Type %systemroot%\system32\catroot2.

g. Delete all the contents inside the catroot2 folder.
h. In the command prompt as admin, type net start cryptsvc, and press enter.
i. Restart your device.
j. Update your Windows.
