I am experiencing a 0x81000019 error in Windows 10 while taking a backup of the system. I have set the VSS and SPP services to automatic and running. I still see the error. Please help.

How To Fix The 0x81000019 Error In Windows 10?

Since the services are working alright; you need to fix your storage space.

Method 1

a. Search Disk Cleanup in the Windows search box, and open it.

b. Delete the temporary files, log files, etc.
c. If you could not free a lot of space, then go to the drive you want to back up, and remove some files/folders from there.
d. Make sure you have extra free space in the external drive than required to take back up.
e. It is recommended to have 40 percent free space in the source drive while taking a backup, but according to sources, the backup works with less free space. The bottom line is you need to have enough free space in the source and destination drives.

Method 2

a. Right-click on this PC.
b. GO to properties.

c. Click on System Protection.

d. Click on Configure.

e. Click on Delete.

f. Take your backup.

g. Create a System Restore point.
