am unable to activate the Windows Defender on my Windows 10 (64 bit). As soon as I open it, it displays an error windows defender error code 0x80070422. I am adding the screenshot of the error as well. Does someone know the solution to this problem? Please suggest me something.

How To Fix The Error Windows Defender Error Code 0x80070422 Manually?

You just have to follow these steps:

1. Open the Registry editor by typing “exe” inside the search box and hit enter.
2. Open the following location in the window: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\WinDefend

3. Click on “Start” in the right pane of the window that appears.
4. Change the “Value Data” to 2 and click “OK.”
