Why do I get the error “The file format is invalid / Unsupported” every time? Can anyone explain the reason behind this error? How to fix this error?

How To Fix The File Format Is Invalid Or Unsupported Error

It occurs because you are trying to open a file in software which does not support that type of extension.

For example: If you try to open an image file(.jpg,.png extension) into Adobe Reader then it will occur this error telling “File format is Unsupported.”

Mostly it occurs while selecting the .iso images.
