I am unable to update Windows 10. I am encountering a 0x80010108 error. I ran Windows Update troubleshooter, but it was of no help. How can I fix this error?

How To Fix Windows Update Error 0x80010108?

You can try the following methods to fix Windows Update error 0x80010108.
If you have third-party antivirus, please turn it off and try to update the windows once. If it fails, then follow the below methods.

Method 1

a. Press Windows key + R.
b. Type cmd admin and press enter.
c. In the command prompt admin, type net stop wuauserv and press enter.
d. Wait for the process to complete.
e. Now, type net start wuauserv.
f. Hit enter.
g. Wait for the process to complete.
h. Restart your PC.
i. Check for Windows Update.

Method 2

a. Press Windows key + R.
b. Type cmd admin and press enter.
c. In the command prompt admin, type regsvr32 wups2.dll /s and press enter.
d. Restart your PC.
e. Check for Windows Update.
