You can try the following methods to solve the 0x800706be audio error.

Method 1

a) Press Windows + R key.
b) Type services.msc, and press enter.
c) Find the following services – Windows Audio, Windows Audio Endpoint Builder, Remote Procedure Call (RPC)

d) Right-click on each of the services, and click on Restart.

Method 2

a) Right-click on the start menu.

b) Open Device Manager.
c) Expand Sound, video, and game controllers.
d) Right-click on your audio driver.
e) Uninstall device.
