How To Get Rid Of The Following Error In FSX – “A Fatal Error Occurred.”

Method 1

a. Go here
b. Search for uiautomationcore.dll.
c. Click on the DLL file.

d. Install the 32-bit or 64-bit according to your device specification.
e. Extract the zip file.
f. Open the folder that contains the content of the zip file.
g. Copy uiautomationcore.dll.
h. Go to the folder where FSX is installed.
i. Paste the DLL in the folder where you find FSX.exe.
j. Restart the app.
k. “A fatal error occurred” screen will not come.

Method 2

a. Open the Steam game client.
b. Click on Library.
c. The game list will appear.
d. Right-click on Flight Simulator X.
e. Open Properties.


f. Under the Local Files tab, select the Verify Integrity of Game Cache option.
g. Restart your app.
h. “A fatal error occurred” screen will not come.

Method 3

a. Go to C: Users -> <user name> -> Documents -> Flight Simulator X Files.
b. Note – Deleting the Logbook.BIN can solve your problem, but it will delete the pilot record.
c. Delete the Logbook.BIN file.
d. Restart your app.
