I am currently using Windows 7 on my computer. Can someone help me to manually remove the domain controller from active directoryon my computer? I want to remove the domain controller since it is creating a lot of problems.

You need to clean the server meta data to manually remove the domain controller from the Active Directory in Windows. You can clean up the server metadata as follows.

1. Open the Active Directory from the Start Menu.
2. Under ‘All Active Directory users,’ select the domain controller whose metadata you need to clear.
3. Expand this domain. Follow the domain controllers.
4. Choose the domain controller of your choice and then right-click
5. Now, select delete.
