I don’t know how to open the policy editor on my windows 7, does anyone know how to open the group policy editor windows server 2008.

How To Open Group Policy Editor Windows Server 2008 On Windows 7.

The following steps will guide you, to open the policy editor.

You can open the group policy editor either by using the command line or by using a service called Management console by Microsoft, also called the MMC.

1. Command line method

• Click on start menu and enter gpedit.msc in the search box and press the enter key.

2. MMC method

• To open MMC, first, click on the start menu and search MMC and press the enter key.
• Go to the file menu and click on the Add or remove snap-in option.
• After the dialog box comes, click on group policy object editor and then click add.
• Select group policy object dialog box will appear, click on browse and select the device or click on users to edit Administrator.
