Hello experts, I am getting an error 0x80042109 while sending an email or receiving an email; it displays an error message saying Outlook is unable to connect to your server. Please help me to fix this error. Thank you.

Hello, The cause of the error 0x80042109 might be improperly assigned SMTP server protocols or due to several third party applications. Follow the below-mentioned methods to resolve the error.
Method 1:
Outgoing port.
• Go to MS Outlook.
• Click on tools, then go to the account settings.
• Now, right-click on the email address you are using.
• Click on more settings, go to advanced.
• Change the outgoing SMTP server port to 587 and choose TLS encryption.
• Click on ok and follow the prompts.
Method 2:
Firewall settings
• Search for Firewall and click on it.
• On to the left-hand side, go to “Allow an app or feature through windows firewall.”
• Select change settings.
• Now enable Outlook.exe and msimn.exe for public and private networks.
• Apply the changes made and restart the PC.
