I recently tried to update my computer with the latest update of Windows, but when I tried updating it, an error message Windows error code 80072efe was displayed on the screen.

There are two solutions to your problem. You can try either of them according to your issue.

First: I guess you have a malware called ROOTKITS. Fix of this problem is quite simple. You just have to run TDSKILLER to find any rootkit on your computer. You can try this link https://support.kaspersky.com/downloads/utils/tdsskiller.exe

You can now run your update.
