How To Solve Logitech Setpoint Software Stopped Working Issue In Windows 10 Creators Update.

I am using Logitech setpoints oftware for about 6 months now. And for the first time  I have got some issue like this. I am using a Window Pro 64bit operating system, and everything was running quite smoothly until I recently my Windows 10 to Windows creators update and all of a sudden Logitech setpoint stopped working.When I try to install setpoint, a dialogue box saying “the setpoint has stopped” pops up. I was able to install all other software without any hassle but setpoint.

I have tried everything including installing the latest version and the two previous versions of set point and running the program as administrator, but the situation remains same.

I have asked about this in Logitech forum but don’t know if I will  get a solution. So anyone know how to fix this issue?

How To Solve Logitech Setpoint Software Stopped Working Issue In Windows 10 Creators Update.

I  think this is one of those security certificate problems been happening recently with setpoint products. Now here for e.g., in Firefox, you can no more install the set point add-on because of the same security certificate problem as Logitech have not updated it.

And besides all windows have tightened their security measures to protect their users by blocking software with an updated security software certificates especially the ones that run at boot.

The only solution is that try installing it by turning off the secure boot option in BIOS. But turning secure boot off will leave you unprotected against rootkits so even if you can install it you will have to make a stand between comfort and security.
