I bought microsoftnokialumia 638 about a week ago and my phone recently received an update. And since then whenever an incoming call comes in my phone is not vibrating and sometimes it even fails to give a ring.

Now it’s only one week since I bought this phone I haven’t got along with it much, but I am sure I tried everything including changing the ringtone to increasing volume and enabling ringtone and vibration in my phone settings but for no use. So can anyone help me solve this issue?

Now Many users are reporting the same problem since the update so here is one of the effective solutions for this issue that helped many.
Follow my steps:
Step 1: Open the settings
Step 2: Now Go to “Notifications+actions”
Step 3: Then go to phone
Step 4: Now uncheck the show notification banners there
Step 5: Then change the “Notification sound” into none

Step 6: Now again go to settings
Step 7: Then open ringtone+sounds
Step 8: Now change your ringtone to any, other than pure. After the update is installed, it sets pure as default.
Step: Close settings and go back
Hope this helps you.
