I am unable to print using my HP printer. It connects with a LAN cable to my desktop (Windows 10). I get a 40 MIO error. I have reset the printer and related settings, but the issue persists. Please help.

The 40 MIO error occurs when the data cannot be transmitted to the printer from the PC properly. Try these out-

Method 1

1. Remove the MIO card.
2. Clean it with a clean cloth gently.
3. Insert it again.
4. Check if the error is gone.

Method 2

1. Remove your LAN cable from both ends.
2. Clean the cable and cable slots.
3. Clean the LAN wire.
4. Insert it again.
5. Check if the error is gone.

Others –

1. Your MIO card can be corrupted, and you have to replace it.
2. Your LAN wire can be defective; you have to replace it.
