How To Solve Windows Firewall Error 0x8007042c?

It may happen your device still has some malicious file. Microsoft safety scanner can help you to solve the 0x8007042c error.

Method 1

a. Go here
b. Download the software.
c. Run the executable file, and use it to perform a quick scan.

d. After you successfully scan your device, try to turn on your Windows Firewall.

If you are not able to solve your problem, using method 1, try another way.

Method 2

a. Press Windows + R key.
b. Type services.msc, and press enter.

c. Double-click on Windows Defender Firewall.
d. Start the service, and in the startup type, select “Automatic.”
