How to solve Xbox live error status report?

I was unable to connect to my Xbox. When I tried to find out the reason, I got this screen, which says Xbox live error status report. What is it, and how do I solve the error?

How to solve Xbox live error status report?

These are code words set by Microsoft.

To solve this error, try to re-connect your console by disconnecting it and connecting it again to the power source.

If it does not work, try to set the Network Settings to default. To do this follow these steps –

1 – Go to System Settings.

2 – Go to Network Settings.

3 – Select the Network you are connected to.

4 – Go to Configure Network.

5 – Select Additional Settings.

6 – Select Restore to Factory Defaults.

7 – Select yes when you are prompted.

This will not affect any other setting of your console, so feel free to try it.
