How to tackle the issue of viper alarm remote not working all of a sudden

Yesterday when I was returning from my sister’s house as I approached my car, I clicked the unlock button many times. But the car didn’t unlock. And in spite of waiting for some time and then trying again, it didn’t work. The remote lights and beeps normal. My system is Viper 5701. I searched over the internet about the issue viper alarm remote not working but didn’t find anything useful. Can anyone help me?

How to tackle the issue of viper alarm remote not working all of a sudden

Somehow the brain and the remote got out of sync. Big reason why this is that the remote is not in range of the remote and the remote button are pressed more than once. Disarm the alarm thru the valet button and reprogram the remote to the car. Also use the keypad lock so this does not happen again.
