Hello experts,

I have a word file which is protected with the password I have but I don’t know how to access it. Please provide me the steps to unlock word document with a password.

How To Unlock Word Document With Password?

To unlock an ms-file is easy when you have a password otherwise you need to install Word 2007 Unlocker 5.0.

Go through the steps below.

1. Explore the file and at the home tab click on Review Tab.
2. At the top right side of the document there is a Protect Document, hit on it.
3. Select ‘restrict editing and formatting’ option.
4. Go for “stop protection” button.
5. Enter your password when “unprotect window” appears.
