How to unlock PDF digital edition?

Hi,

I have a pdf e-book and I couldn't open it with my adobe reader. I searched net and found that nowadays some pdf files are created with special protected format and read only (locked). Please explain this and tell me how to unlock pdf digital edition and enable editing?

How to unlock PDF digital edition?

Hi,

First of all you should have all the rights to edit that PDF file. Please check the copyrights for that specific file on the internet. Now. if you have the rights to do so then you can edit your file through 'Acrobat XI Pro' available at the following link:

https://acrobat.adobe.com/us/en/acrobat/acrobat-pro.html

Secondly you can download 'Foxit PDF Editor' to edit your files from the link given below:

https://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf-editor/

However if the file is locked for editing, you should not edit it without the permission of author.
