How to unpack Stuffit file using sit extractor for Linux?

I have downloaded a file which is in .Sit archive format. I tried to see what is in it but failed. Then I used sit extractor for Linux but it also did not work. I have found that file after long struggle and do not want to leave it as such. Please tell me the solution how to unpack .Sit file?

Hello

After some research I found article which show you exactly how to unpack .sit file. You can find article on this link: http://linuxmafia.com/faq/Apps/stuffit-archives.html

Also on this article you will find link for application download which will enable you do accomplish what you need. You will find instructions for using this application. Since this tutorial is quite long for this forum I won't post it here so you will have to visit above link and read tutorial. I hope I helped.
