How to use an mp3 player with linux OS

Hi Experts,

I am using Phillips MP3 Player and i want to connect My Mp3 player to PC with Linux OS, But PC is not detect my MP3 player. Is there any Drivers requirement or other?

please suggest me the proper solution. Thanks.

Hello Anantvijay,

To connect Phillips MP3 player to pc with Linux OS you have to follow the following steps:

  1. Connect the MP3 player with pc.
  2. Click install Phillips songbird.
  3. Songbird > file > Import Media > Ok.
  4. Click Manual > Audio & video synching.
  5. Drag media file in the MP3 player.

Dear Anantvijay,

When you are connecting your mp3 player to a computer it looks like a usb flash drive ( storage device ) . So it should work with any operating system even windows, mac or even Linux. So it should work correctly but if not there are supporting software need to be installed for old versions of mp3 player like Amarok.
