I've heard about this compressing software a few days ago. And I just want to know more specification details about this software before I try to download  this freeware just for security reason. Any idea will be appreciated.

PNGGauntlet is a compressor that is available for Windows and Mac PC. It reduces the png files size without reducing the quality of it. For Windows version, you will need to have a .NET Framework 4.0 in order to install it. It can combine PNGOUT, OptiPNG and DeflOpt and make it to the smallest PNG files. The quality will remain but the file size will be reduced. It can also converts JPG, GIF, TIFF and BMP to PNG files.

How to use PNG Gauntlet

PNG Gauntlet is a tool for Windows and Mac.  Please remember that its windows version will work only with Microsoft .Net Framework 4.0, which can reduce the size of PNG files without tumbling the image’s eminence/quality at the same time.

It coalesce three different tools to create the smallest possible file size.  This interface offers you with all the settings that you require to get started.

Before you start, I would suggest you click on Tools > Options to make sure that everything is set properly here. If you plan to work on the PC while the program compresses the images, you may consider examining/observing the run compressors with low priority box to avoid any kind of slow downs on your system.
