Hi,
How to reset Acer Battery:
BIOS revision 3309 has a fix regarding to the issue for battery charging, yet if you have the newest BIOS and still your battery isn't charging, the best answer is to power down your system, take out the battery and plug out the power cable, next press and hold the power push button for a full 2 minutes to totally drain all remaining voltage from the main board to reset it, after that release the power button, put in the battery and power up the system, it must currently recognize the battery and start the usual charge cycle.
