Hello fellows,

How to wipe and rename free space windows? Windows xp operating system is a gaming os and I want take good care the system for my online and offline game collections. Give me some tips or a step by step process on how to wipe and rename free space windows?

How to wipe and rename free space windows?

Actually you cannot call windows XP just as a gaming OS. There are more things you can do and achieve with the windows XP OS other than gaming.

There are several things you can do to free up the disk space.

Disk clean up

 Right click on the drive you want to clean up and go to properties.

Click on Clean up and check on all check boxes on the appearing window.

Click OK and some unwanted space will be cleaned up.

Clear Temp folder

Go to start menu -> type run and press enter

In the appearing box type %TEMP% and press enter

Temp folder will be opened and you can delete all the files in it.

By doing above operations you can save some considerable amount of disk space of your computer by removing unwanted temporary files.
