A few days ago while trying to print using my HP Envy printer, its power button began to blink, and on the screen, I could see error code 0x83c0000a mentioned. I am using Windows 7, and had no problems with this printer until now. Please help soon as I need it on an urgent basis. Thanks.
HP Envy Error Code 0x83c0000a Fixed Forever!
When the above error code occurs, your printer will not be able to receive any printing signal, and the screen of your PC will also turn blue. At this time you will not be able to refresh your screen, and your PC will be in a hang state. I will provide some solutions which you can try below, and if they do not work, you should contact HP technical support.
- Check the connection between your device and the printer. First, try taking a duplicate copy of any page to confirm that the printer or cartridge is not faulty.
- You can go to Control Panel and see if your printer is listed there so that. Among other external devices connected, one must be your printer.
- You must have received a manual along with the printer. Read through it to discover the brand and model of your printer. Go to their official website and download an appropriate driver for your printer.
- If you already have a driver installed then, make sure that the driver is of the latest version. If it is not, then you must update it.
All these solutions must work for you and if they do not, go to their official website and call on their technical support to get technical help.
HP Envy Error Code 0x83c0000a Fixed Forever!
A couple of users encountered this error but no support personnel have come up with a fixed solution. They only suggested to hard reset the device. To perform a hard reset on your HP printer, first, you need to turn on the device. Plug the printer to the power and turn it on.
Now, with the printer turned on, disconnect the power cable from the rear of the printer then unplug the power cable from the outlet. If the printer’s USB cable is still connected to the computer, disconnect it. Press and hold the power button on your printer for about thirty seconds (30) to drain any leftover power. After this, wait about two to three minutes (2 – 3).
Now, plug the power cable to the outlet without using any surge protector or extension cord then plug the power cable back to the printer. Lastly, turn on the printer then wait until warm-up period is complete and the printer is idle. Try also updating the printer’s firmware. Go to Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware for the complete instructions.
