HP slate 7 is stuck in headphone mode

My HP slate is 7 having a problem. The only way I can make it work is to use headphones. It has been like this for weeks now. I tried plugging and unplugging the headphones countless times but it did not work. Is it stuck in headphone mode? I am getting a little frustrated. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I'm sorry to hear about the problem you are experiencing. This is a very rare scenario. I would advise you to carry your HP Slate 7 to a certified technician. If it is still under warranty, bring it back to the store of purchase to get it repaired under the guidelines of the warranty.
