I Am Facing An 80240020 Error While Updating To Windows 10

When Windows 10 is released, then many users face an error while updating the Windows to Windows 10 that is called an 80240020 error. The most significant cause for the occurrence of the error is the bad internet connection. There are mainly two solutions for the error code, and that is described as follows:

Solution 1: Access the registry path and re-assign the values.

Step 1: Access the registry path as directed below:

Computer \ HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Office \ 16.0 \ Common \ Identity
Step 2: Add the new value of type REG_DWORD with the name EnableADAL with value 0.
Step 3: Remove all DisableADALaptopWAMOverride entry if it exists.
Step 4: A pop-up window will appear after restarting the system.

Solution 2: Download folder

Step 1: Go to the directed location C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download and remove the content from there.
Step 2: Open an admin command prompt and type the command: wuauclt.exe /updatenow
Step 3: Go to control panel >> Windows Update, and there, the user will see Downloading Windows 10.
Step 4: After the completion of the process, restart the computer.
Step 5: Now, the screen will appear like Windows 10 ready to upgrade window, then click on Start the upgrade now
