Hi,
I am working as admin officer in a large scale multinational company. I need to handle around 20-30 emails per hour. But I am receiving multiple copies of every emails which is really frustrating me too much. I need to trash a lot of emails which is too much time consuming and also missing many important emails. I don’t change any options regarding maintenance or tools. I have checked every option manually but unable to recognize any faulty option.
What do you think? Does any system file corrupt in my PC or any kind of setting is changed in mail server?
I am Getting Duplicate Mail in Outlook Express
Hi,
I have read the issue that you have with the Outlook Express, well normally the only reason why you will be getting duplicate emails is if you had set up to accounts on the Outlook Express. Here are the steps on how to check it and hopefully this will resolve the issue.
-
Open the Outlook Express
-
At the upper part of the screen, we need to look for Tools and the Click it.
-
A list of menu will open up, Click Accounts
-
A screen Internet Accounts will load up
-
Click on the Mail tab
-
On the screen that you have check each account that is set up by clicking them one by one and check if there are some double accounts created by clicking properties at the right side. (if you can only recall creating just one particular account on the Outlook Express and your seeing 2 on the list, remove the other one by selecting it and clicking Remove at the right side)
-
After doing this, click close and check if you’re still getting duplicate emails.
Hopefully I have resolved the issue that you have.
I am Getting Duplicate Mail in Outlook Express
Hi,
I have some other information that might be of great help if the issue will exist again or if you have a friend who will be having the same issue. In some cases the webmail or your ISP’s email might be also causing the issue, the emails on the webmail might be received again on the Outlook Express though you already received it before. In order for you to make sure that the emails on the webmail is no longer received again on the outlook express so we need to check this configuration:
-
Open Outlook Express
-
Click on Tools tab at the upper part of the screen
-
Click Accounts on the list
-
The Internet accounts screen will open up, click the Mail tab
-
Select the email account that you’re using  and then click properties
-
Another screen will load up, click the last tab which is the advanced tab
-
At the very bottom part of the screen, we need to make sure that the delivery part is selected
-
Put a check on Leave a copy of messages on server
-
Put a check on Remove from server when deleted from deleted items, so that it will be deleted on the server email as well, when you deleted it on the Outlook Express.
This is a follow up solution to the issue that you have. Hopefully this will assist you further with the issue.
